Buy a Chitenge animal and help Mercy Ministries educate 350 at-risk
children in Chainda Zambia. Chitenge animals, made from the cloth the women of Zambia wear in the villages, is Mercy Ministries’ creative way of raising funds to help educate the orphaned and HIV affected children of the Chainda Community. Each animal sold provides income to the people who make them as well as income to the school for paying teachers. While you’re at it, check out the pillow cases and hairbands as well.
All proceeds go to Mercy Ministries.
>> Chitenge Animals will be available at the Christ Feeds event on Saturday, Nov. 3 in Beaty Gym from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. or contact Shirley Sankey.
