The blue fencing around the Sanctuary lets our entire community know that there are changes happening on our campus, particularly our Sanctuary. The cover photo for this month’s bulletin (taken by Trustees member Bill Crosby) gives you a sneak peek inside. We know many of you miss worshipping in the Sanctuary, but we are excited about the improvements underway:

  • New roof & gutters
  • New lighting & controls
  • Ceiling repairs and window flashing at stained glass
  • New slate flooring
  • New pews
  • New HVAC system
  • New restrooms

Work completed so far includes Holy Grounds skylight and roof repairs plus new flooring/paint, renovated restrooms near the parlor, sidewalk repairs throughout campus and Seabrook Hall upgrades (new carpet, chairs, interior panels cleaned). In addition, we have new roofs on Beaty Gym, Wilson/Ross, Grant and Seabrook North.

“You may have also noticed some enhancements to our courtyards with new turf and playground equipment,” said Patrick Johnston, Trustees Chair. “These upgrades were performed directly by the Christ Methodist Day School Board of Trustees. We are blessed to have a great relationship with CMDS that continues to enhance our campus!”

Thank you for your continued patience as we work to improve the life of our campus!
