We’ve talked about it for months, and now we have a new ministry center open in Germantown. If you haven’t been, be sure to stop by. In fact, plan to come on Wednesday evenings and make our midweek worship a part of your week.
“There’s a long time between Sunday and Sunday,” Shane shared during the opening service on March 29. “I want this to be a place where you fill up, and I look forward to teaching and worshiping with you in this space.” Shane is opening the midweek service, called The Journey, with a six-week series on The Wesleyan Way: The Who, What, Why & How I Am a Methodist.
One of the highlights of the center is a place for kids. On Wednesday nights, your children ages birth–elementary school will have the full spectrum of teaching from our children’s ministry staff led by Brad Bogue.
Yet there is much more planned for the center, and the April calendar is already filling up with a variety of activities from a karaoke night for middle schoolers to a luncheon for a new UMW circle. Check out the complete list here.
As a member of Christ Church Memphis, this space is also for you to use. If you would like to host a Bible study or meet with your small group, contact our East Ministry Center Coordinator Pearl Holland. There is also an open coffee bar time each week to drop in for a free cup of coffee.
You really must visit to experience the warmth that many have worked hard to create. We hope you will make plans to stop by our open house set for Sunday, April 9 from 2-4 p.m. And please, please invite a friend to join you!
