Worship Leader Reagan Daniels’ latest song, “Fight for Me,” addresses issues of mental health and suicide—two topics that our church has put a lot of focus on in the recent months and years through our No Whispers Initiative. It was released on World Suicide Prevention Day to encourage the hearts of those fighting through these issues. The lyrics are based on a promise from Exodus 14:14: “The Lord your God will fight for you; you need only be still.”

Reagan said when he looks back at the ministry of Jesus, one of the biggest parts of Jesus’ ministry was a healing ministry. “And I think if we are called to be reflections of Christ, then that healing is something we really need to do the work to understand how it works as far as living that out in the name of Jesus,” he said. “And a lot of times that’s not necessarily taking action or saying the right things but just sitting and being with those people in a way that’s loving and just supportive.”
