These CUMC members are using what they’ve learned to help others through social media and advocating on behalf of our local children’s hospitals.

Long-time member and Communications ministry volunteer Beth Sanders was recently featured in an article in The Memphis Daily News. While she works behind the scenes, Beth is an integral part of our team live tweeting the 9:45 service (and tweeting throughout the week) as well as the primary person behind our Facebook page and regular blogger. Learn more about Beth here.

Next week, CUMC member Cathy Wilson will watch as her daughters advocate for children’s health care in Washington D.C. Both girls have received care at LeBonheur and will be a part of the 8th annual Family Advocacy Day sharing their story with lawmakers on Capitol Hill. Read more here.
