I love learning! There is no other way of saying it—I just love learning! I love that God has gifted us, as His creation, with the power of thinking, analyzing and applying thoughts to our everyday experience of His world. I love when God teaches us something so very deep it changes our pattern of thinking and challenges us to live differently. I love it when He entrusts His people to teach others what He Himself has taught them so that they may be encouraged and, in turn, encourage others to “fight the good fight and finish the race.” I love that God gives us fellowship in experiencing His Word together, as one body of believers, in a way that allows our beauty to shine as His bride, the church.
Come to learn.
Come to experience Him.
Come to be challenged to live differently.
Come to be encouraged.
Come to have fellowship.
Come to know your beauty as His bride.
Come Tuesday, July 16 from 9 a.m.-Noon in Wilson/Ross 415 to hear women of our church share their experience of what God is teaching them about the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
NOTE: Thursday, July 18 brings another exciting event for women. Join us at 7 p.m. in The Refuge for SHINE with Kenna West: Lighting Your Corner of the World. Kenna will share a message on the importance of women sharing our faith. She will also treat us to her music. Coffee and dessert will be served.
Don’t miss either of these inspiring events for women. Just come … and bring a friend!
