A couple of weeks ago, the Christ College Residency Program welcomed its sixth class of residents to the ministry and community of CUMC.

To find out more about the program, check out blog posts from previous years:Christ College Residency Program

Now under the leadership of Tom Fuerst, Associate Teaching Pastor, the residents have class Tuesday and Thursday mornings as they discuss the span of the Bible and its theological themes. The rest of the time, they are participating in the work of their respective ministry areas.

This summer’s program is unique in how it features a renewed emphasis on community among the residents and their ministry supervisors, and on the residents’ time this summer as a season to focus on the development of their character as followers of Jesus.

Most of this year’s residents are new to Christ Church, so if you see them, be sure to welcome them and ask how the residency is going!
