Christ Church Global has launched the first of its new media outreach programs to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with the Memphis metro area. GC-You-Matter

Beginning today, You Matter, a 30-minute teaching program, will air Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. and Sundays at 11 a.m. on WTWV (cable and satellite channel 14, U-verse channel 23). Various other airings will take place randomly throughout the week. The program will normally consist of an edited version of a 9:45 a.m. sermon. However, special programming and messages from Shane Stanford may also be used. You Matter will also promote opportunities for serving the under-resourced.

You Matter is the first of two media outreach programs produced at Christ Church by CCGlobalTV’s Anthony Thaxton. A longtime friend and collaborator with Shane, Thaxton said there is a lot of excitement around the new ventures. “Shane is a great communicator of the Gospel,” he said. “We feel as though his messages will resonate with the whole city of Memphis.” Members are encouraged to tell their friends to tune in or record the program. Promotional materials are being prepared to help spread the word.

The second television program to be produced through Christ Church, We Believe in Memphis, will begin airing next month and includes an interview format with community leaders. We Believe in Memphis will be co-hosted by Maxie Dunnam and Shane Stanford. Pre-production is underway. Thaxton and Christ Church Communications Director Jo Ellen Druelinger will both be involved in this endeavor as well in the role of producers.
