To many of us around Christ Christ, the name Dunnam is very familiar. Kimberly is Maxie’s daughter, and she’s just released a new book, The Christ-Centered Woman. She will be here in person on Thursday, Oct. 24 with two other Abingdon Women authors, Babbie Mason and Jessica LaGrone for “An Inspiring Evening for Women” featuring a time of teaching and worship around these new, enriching Bible study offerings. The event is free, but you do need to register –look under WOMEN on this page. Again, be sure to register since there will be some GREAT door prizes!
Kimberly, a Bible teacher and seminary professor, has created this new multi-component Bible study for women including print pieces and a DVD. Based on the biblical foundation of Ephesians chapter 3, The Christ-Centered Woman: Finding Balance in a World of Extremes shares what the Bible teaches about Christ-centered living and helps women identify barriers to this revolutionary type of living.
Kimberly created the study to help women shift from focusing on how to juggle their responsibilities to how to make choices that reflect their relationship with Christ and his direction for their lives. In her six-week study, women discover how living a life centered on Christ helps them contemplate, sort, and prioritize their callings. Participants will experience Christ as Rock, Solace, and Guide as they allow him to be the calm center that helps them wisely navigate the competing demands and responsibilities of life.
